Oil palm trees are rich in lignocellulosic raw material, making them suitable for various wood industry applications, including plywood, sawn timber, and particle and fiber-based products. Utilizing OPT for sawn timber production provides an excellent substitute for hardwood logs, contributing to forest conservation efforts in Malaysia.
